Few broadcast journalists are as widely respected as legendary American interviewer, producer and TV host, Barbara Walters.
Walters began her career as a writer/ producer, then co-host on The Today Show in the early 1960s. She went on to front numerous news shows & became famed for her interviews and journalistic ‘scoops’ with world leaders and celebrities, including a joint interview with Egypt’s President, Anwar Al Sadat, and Israel’s Prime Minister, Menachem Begin.
One of our favourite Barbara moments? When she asked a young, Jewish girl you may have heard of called Monica Lewinsky, to ‘describe yourself’.
