A true WIZO woman, an Eshet Chayil, a woman who has given most of her adult life to a cause she has believed in so strongly and with such passion.
Elza is truly an inspiration to the younger generation.
She has been Co-President and President of her WIZO group Darom for over 50 years and is always willing to represent WIZO in the wider community. Her commitment knows no bounds. Over the years, she has shared her milestone birthdays with WIZO raising much needed funds for our WZO Australia projects.
Her energy and vitality is amazing at 92 years young. She regularly swims, does aerobics, plays social bridge, travels widely, drives, goes to art classes and still makes all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildrens speciality birthday cakes. She has been awarded the highest WIZO honour – The Rebecca Sieff Award.
“The Elza Levin Volunteer of the Year Award” was created ín 2019 to thank her for her dedication, passion and hard work.
