Fundraising mission in Canada

fundraising mission in canada

Anita Friedman, World WIZO Chairperson, is currently on an outreach and fundraising mission in Canada on behalf of Israel and WIZO, and during her tour she has met incredible WIZO members, donors and young people eager to join the WIZO movement and support Israel. She is also keenly aware of the raging antiSemitism that has been displayed in Canada, and around the world.

Yesterday in Toronto, she attended a march in support of Israel that drew over 10,000 participants in the freezing cold weather. And at the march was a surprising sign of hope: the co-organizers of the event were Iranians who openly declared their support for Israel.

“The small flags of Iran, in cold Toronto, managed to warm my heart –a little,” wrote Anita.
