Launching a New Flight Path

The Israeli Air Force, in partnership with WIZO, launched a groundbreaking nine-week pilot preparatory program at WIZO Gan Vanof Youth Village to train 60 candidates with diverse backgrounds in mental resilience, teamwork, and academic readiness for the pilot course. This initiative also fosters social connections and promotes equal opportunities, aligning with WIZO’s values of education and inclusivity.

November’s Roses & Thorns

This past month, we marked the fight against domestic violence, celebrated WIZO Finland’s 100-year anniversary, witnessed shocking antisemitism in Europe and The Hague, and launched a ground-breaking collaboration with the Israeli Air Force.

This month, we are honoring Ela Ken Dror, a WIZO Israel volunteer whose son was killed on October 7th at the Nova festival. “The first thing I did when the month of mourning was over, was return to my volunteering at WIZO.” Her story will bring you to tears — of sorrow and inspiration.
