WIZO: Changing Lives – Doing What Matters

wizo changes lives osama's story

We are proud to share with you a new video that tells the moving story of how WIZO’s Nir Ha’Emek Youth Village forever changed the course of Osama Abu-Afash ‘s life. A young Bedouin Arab from the Negev who was born blind, he was transformed from a hopeless and forsaken boy with no prospects for the future into a young man with intelligence, confidence and the ability to live independently and one day contribute to other people’s lives as a psychologist. This dramatic change is credited to Nir Ha’Emek Youth Village and the remarkable people and resources that are invested in nurturing youth with special needs from all parts of Israeli society.

We hope you enjoy Osama’s and Nir Ha’Emek’s success story
