Galit is nine months old and is sadly at-risk. Her single mother Noa needs to work long hours to give her child a life. Fortunately Galit receives the daily nutrition, attention, cognitive stimulation and encouragement she needs to thrive at WIZO’s Raya Jaglom Day Care Centre. That was until Covid-19 reared its ugly head. During the pandemic the centre had to close three times for the necessary lockdowns. And to make matters worse, Noa lost her job. When the centre finally reopened, Noa, now on welfare, simply couldn’t afford to send her baby back into care. Noa can’t do it on her own. She needs our help and we need yours.
