Hello to you all, from turbulent Israel. I know that you are all following the developments and I thank those of you who send messages of support.

Last night was a dramatic one, in which the IDF struck the terrorist organization Hezbollah and eliminated its arch-terrorist leader Hassan Nasrallah, who is responsible for numerous terrorist acts, not only in Israel but worldwide.

The goal is to severely damage the military capabilities of the Lebanese terrorist organization, which has disrupted the country’s life not just this past year, but for many years, and whose threat has been so severe that the residents of the northern part of the country abandoned their homes in the past year. Now, the IDF, with determination, unprecedented strength, wisdom, and unparalleled precision in the world, is acting to remove the threat and return the northern residents to their homes.

The turbulent days ahead are inevitable, but they lead to peace and security. Extreme religious terrorism is not dealt with through agreements and compromises — of which we have already had enough, and they always led to the next round of war — but rather through a clear military victory! Therefore, the news of the past 24 hours gives room for optimism and hope that we are on the verge of historic days, at the end of which calm will return to the north of the country for many years, and Israeli deterrence will be restored against our enemies in other arenas as well.

We at WIZO, of course, are closely monitoring the situation, acting according to the instructions of the Home Front Command, and are prepared for any situation.

These are days of hope and national pride in the IDF’s amazing capabilities, and in the unique moral manner in which it operates. Again, thank you all for your solidarity, and for your deep and sincere partnership along the way, through the challenges we face, and in prayers for what is to come at the end.

Warm regards and wishes for a wonderful week,

Anita
