Dear WIZO Chaverot, Donors, and Partners,
As we look back on the past year—a year filled with unimaginable challenges and deep loss—we find ourselves strengthened by the resilience and unity that define our WIZO family and the people of Israel. Today, more than ever, we stand together, more determined to continue our critical work.
WIZO’s Iron Swords Impact Report 2023-24 (attached) highlights the breadth of our efforts throughout the Iron Swords War. This report serves as a testament to WIZO’s commitment to Israel’s children, families, and communities during one of the most challenging years in recent history. The report was released last week as part of our latest WIZO Review – October newsletter, where we share stories of hope and resilience from the past year. In case you are not subscribed, you are invited to sign up for our monthly newsletter to receive regular updates and stay informed about WIZO’s ongoing efforts.
As we approach the commemoration of one year, we take the opportunity of reminding you that today we will be hosting a virtual commemoration event – Resilience & Reflection: Commemorating October 7 – featuring the parents of fallen WIZO graduate, Roi Tal, and messages from our leadership. You can join us on Zoom at 5 pm Israel time.
As we continue forward, let us draw inspiration from the courage and resilience we have all shown over the past year. Together, we will rebuild, restore, and strengthen our communities. Your continued partnership remains essential to our success, and we thank you for standing with us during these trying times.
With heartfelt thanks,
Anita Friedman
