Avi Issacharoff is the co-creator and writer of FAUDA, the hit Netflix series.
FAUDA has been described as the ‘best action-thriller ever made in Israel’, receiving critical acclaim along the way. He is also the current Middle East Analyst for the Times of Israel.
From 2006 to 2012 Mr Issacharoff was the Arab Affairs columnist for Ha’aretz newspaper. Prior to that, he won the Best Reporter award for his coverage of the Second Intifada as Middle East Affairs correspondent for Israeli Public Radio
In 2004 he and Amos Harel co-wrote the book ‘The Seventh War: How We Won and Why We Lost the War with the Palestinians’. The book went on to win an award from the Institute of Strategic Studies for containing the best research on security affairs in Israel. In 2008 he teamed up again with Harel to write ‘34 Days: The Story of the Second Lebanon War’, winning the same prestigious award.
