WIZO Awareness Week is an opportunity to make the wider community aware of WIZO’s work in Israel.
Spearheaded by WIZO NSW Education Chairperson, Rose Fekete, Awareness Week is held each year in the week concluding with Parshat Chaye Sara. The matriarch Sara epitomizes many of our WIZO values.
Throughout the week, WIZO volunteers visit schools, pre-schools and Shuls to educate and inform the community about WIZO’s vital welfare work in Israel.
This year WIZO Awareness week will be held in the week commencing Monday 6th November and conclude with WIZO Shabbat on Friday 10th & Saturday 11th November.
It would be wonderful if you could attend your Shul for WIZO Shabbat to represent WIZO NSW. Show how proud you are to be a WIZO member by sitting with the other WIZO members and being a part of your Shul’s congregation for the WIZO Shabbat service. A list of WIZO Awareness Week services are detailed below.
Please let us know which service you will be attending by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or call the WIZO NSW office on 9387-3666.
